I remember Bob from IHM and UHS. He was sort of a class clown...in a good way. I'll never forget the day we found out about his accident. He left us way too soon.

Bob was so enjoyable to hang out with, he always had a smile and was always a good friend.

I have been thinking of all our classemates that passed away and how much in 1970 I never thought mortality would be a threat to us someday-afterall we were too young.  Today I have been thinking of Bob Bunosky.  I never was close to Bob in high school but we both ended up at YSU and had classes around the same times so I saw him often.  We only then developed a close friendship and I always looked forward in seeing him.  He had me convinced to go sky diving with him. Bob was very passionate about this and when he shared his experience you felt as if you were there.  I finally agreed, he always said "this was the closest thing to being in heaven" so of course I was sold.  We set up a date and time and then I noticed he was not in school the following weeks which I could not understand until I heard about his accident.  I was very saddened by the sudden loss of a man that loved and embraced life so whole heartedly. Here was a guy that feared nothing and I feared everything!  And although a very short time with Bob, I had learned so much from him.

Unfortunately I cannot turn back the hands of time and cherish him as a friend in high school, which would have given me more time with him.  But he defintely left a mark on me in such a short time which I will never forget.
