HARTWIG, Thomas "Twig-YT," 57, of Tampa, passed away May 29, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren "Babe" Hartwig. Thomas is survived by his mother, Patricia A. Hartwig; loving companion, Margaret Sprague; children, Brian (Kerriann) Hartwig and Stacy Hartwig; siblings, Bob, Bill, Patty (Jerry) Resatar, John, Paul, Mary and Sue (Rich) Sferra; eight nieces and nephews, Cathi, Matt, P.J., Johnny, Jason, Kati, Anthony and Audrey; as well as many other loving family members and friends. He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Prior to moving to Florida, he worked for U.S. Steel for many years in Youngstown and Sheffield Lake, Ohio, and was a volunteer fire fighter in the city of Sheffield Lake. Tom also was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. A private family Mass will be celebrated in Tampa. A Mass of Christian burial and interment will take place in Youngstown, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association , 9900 Dr.
