I am sure that everyone at UHS remembers Ron's infamous duck call. After gathering himself and clearing his throat for a few minutes, we would all hear...The Famous Dragon Call

Rest in peace my friend.

My old friend Ron, I can't believe the world will go on with out you in it, just can't think of that. We were pals from Kindergarten to YSU and all of life! Our Moms and Dads said that Europe would not be the same once we got there, and they were so right; man we lit it up my friend. Your brothers and sisters will be missing you and so will one Italian piton . Pete

Ron was one of the funniest people I ever met or knew. My mother was good friends with some of his family and I met him there before Ursuline days. I always had those hard core "belly laughs" around him and may have picked up a detention or 2 from bursting out laughing!

So sad to hear this news.

Ron and I met in the band and he was always a source of great mischeviousness and laughter.  Yes, I remember that famous dragon call... we would egg him on, "Come on... Drag-On, Ron" and than with an appropriate amount of anticipatory preparation and throat clearing, the ear-numbing roar would come out of his towering stature.  What a fun guy.  A gentle soul, he will be sorely missed.
