Paul Henneman

He worked for Packard Electric in Warren, Walker Hydraulic Tool in Michigan, 23 years at Avnet and seven years for Millennium Alliance in Solon. Paul was highly respected in the electronic industry.

Paul married his best friend, the former Sheila Connolly, almost 50 years ago, Oct. 27, 1973. They raised two sons, Adam Paul Henneman (Jennifer) and Matthew David Henneman. They learned from the best how to be good men, husbands and fathers.

Paul always promised he would take Sheila to the beach. He kept his promise, moving to the Myrtle Beach area in 2013.

Paul never met anyone who wasn’t a friend after their first introduction.

Besides his wife and sons, also left to mourn their “Papa” are grandchildren, Karen Henneman, Makayla Henneman, Callie Pierce-Henneman, Addison Henneman, Aiden Henneman, Adam Pierce and Nicholas Pierce; sisters, Gloria Gavalier (Robert) and Mary Beth Booth (Richard); and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends; special friends, John and Patrice Dunklee, Brian and Billie Jean Carlton, and Richard and Patricia Metzinger; and so many more special people who meant so much.

“We especially want to thank Dr. Frederico Rodriguez -Porcel and staff at MUSC Neurology for helping Paul and I navigate this journey of Parkinson’s. I don’t know we would have done it without you. Also, I would like to thank Grand Strand Medical Center and the doctors and nurses on PCU2 for caring for Paul and our family.”

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 24, 2023, at St. Edward Church, 238 Tod Lane, Youngstown, with a luncheon to follow. Family will welcome people from 10 to 11 a.m., before the service.
