SURFSIDE BEACH, S.C. – Catherine “Cathy” Ann Dicarlo Hames, 65, formerly from Youngstown, went to be with our Lord on April 2, 2018, while on board a cruise ship with her family.

Cathy is survived by her sister, Emma “Dolly” Green (Tom); brother Julius “Sonny” DiCarlo (Marilyn); her children, Angelic Mingo, Robert Kearns Jr. (Sheri), Amanda Austin (Stuart), and Alicia McFall; seven grandchildren, Robert III, Alexis, Brittaney, Taylor, Autumn, Savannah, and Sydney; and one great-granddaughter, Alaina.

Cathy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, relative, and friend to so many. Her free spirit and selfless heart touched countless lives and her bright soul will continue to shine through her loved ones.
