MILES M. 'BUBBA' REED JR

YOUNGSTOWN – Miles M. “Bubba” Reed Jr., passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 11, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Miles was born July 1, 1950, in Belle Glade, Fla., a son of the late Miles and Marie (King) Reed Sr.

Miles graduated from Ursuline High School, where he played football. He enjoyed playing cards, and roller skating. Miles retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube.

He was a member of Living Testimony Ministries in Youngstown and also served as an usher at the church.

His memories will be cherished by his son, Miles Reed III of California; three daughters, Shawn Hudson of Baltimore, Shanee Battles of Youngstown, and Sharie Reed of Texas; two brothers, Jonathan (Jackie) Barrett of Youngstown and Thomas Stewart Jr. of Youngstown; three sisters, Juanita Burch of Mobile, Ala., Linda Reed of Youngstown, and Mary Elizabeth (Edward) Gandy of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; one aunt, Mary L. Mack of Georgia; many grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Miles was preceded in death by one daughter and one brother, Roosevelt Benjamin.
